I have been following and doing research on Hip Hop for a long time now. I noticed that Hip Hop is dead right now due to some artists. So I created this blog to talk about these artists. Also, Real Hip Hop will never get to the radio. So here I am, I will post new hip hop songs that contains real Lyrics. If you would like to take part on this blog let me know.
This is red cafe's new single. It is not real Hip Hop, but it sure sounds better than Lil Wayne or Soulja Boy. This is a song that is good to bump with or to cruise around.
Hey what's going on peeps. I have been away for a couple of days, but I am back in keeping you updated with new real hip hop songs and fake hip hop songs. This song is really hot. The beat is crazy too. What do you guys think about this song?
This is real Hip Hop. This song is a little old. I came across this song, so I heard it and had to put it here. I love the message, he sends a good message. The message is that he is going to the top no matter what. What do you guys think?
This is a really good song and it is true what he says. Most of the jail cells are made up of Blacks and Hispanics. Moreover, he is saying that government are making more cells everyday, instead of putting money on schools, medicines, etc..
Here goes Soulja Boy again with his fake Hip Hop. Now, this type of music you will hear it on the radio. I do not know why rappers like this gets popular or sell records smh!
Here is 50 cent again on his new single. The beat is crazy and the lyrics are fire. The only thing is, that the lyrics are too hardcore... What do you guys think? Is this real Hip Hop or fake Hip Hop?
This song goes hard. This is real Hip Hop. This is why he is not on the main stream anymore. He even made a song that Hip Hop was dead, because it is dead.
This song keeps only repeating "how you doin' juice..." It lacks substance. Why would rappers waste their times in making whack songs? That question will be always unanswered for me. He begans to rap at 1:37 which he only raps only sentence. Other than that everything keeps on repeating. Wow...
Lil Wayne-My Birthday ft. Kidd Kidd, Gudda Gudda, T streetss & Mack Maine
Wow are they serious? This is one of the whackest song I ever heard in the whole wide world. Lil wayne says they talk too much shit, he eats puss and they eat d***? haha I just laughed at the whack lyrics. The other guy said my d**** big that's why I walk like I got tendonitis. You are not spitting nasty. Is young money recruiting only whack rappers? Wow...
There are some rappers that forget where they come from and talk bad about where they come from? Do you think this is right? For example, Let's take a look at Fat Joe. He puts the Bronx down. He says that is dirty etc.. Do you think this is justifiable? From my personal opinion, I believe that no rapper should talk bad about from where they come from, because due to that environment they are what they are now. Also, they should rep more where they are from. Below are some rappers that rep hard where they are from, Big ups to them.
Maino
Lil Wayne(even though he doesn't raps real hip hop)
Cory Gunz
Paul Wall
LLoyd banks
New Yorkers recognizes fake Hip Hop. This is why he gets booed off when he was rapping "make the trap". These lyrics are so basic it is not even funny. OJ da Juice man is one of the reasons that Hip Hop is dead.
Hip Hop originated in the streets of the South Bronx. Hip Hop was created to stop the youth from joining gang. Moreover, it was created by Puerto Ricans and Blacks people in the South Bronx. Noticed that I say blacks because Jamaicans, Nigerians, African Americans etc.. help to build what we know today as Hip Hop. Hip Hop have elements. You may wonder what are they? Some people might argue that there are 8 elements of Hip Hop, but the 4 main elements are Mcing, BBoying, Graffiti, and DJing. Rock Steady Crew were a crew of the bronx that merged in the 1970's
Below are some links which states that Puerto Ricans were involved in the Hip Hop movement:
The first video starts to get laggy a little. If this happens to you forward it to 1:47 The first video its just an introduction to the other videos. It talks about salsa (mambo) music on how it led to Hip Hop. If you find this video boring, please make that you check from mambo to hip hop part 4, 5, 6 which I feel are the most important videos.
from mambo to hip hop part 4
from mambo to hip hop part 5
from mambo to hip hop part 6
Below are some pioneers that help to give birth as to what we know as DJing:
